Hi, I’m Brandi Montague, NBC-HWC. I’m a perimenopause/menopause health coach. I help my clients live vibrantly in their 40s, 50s and beyond. Together, we’ll get to the root cause of your symptoms so you can sleep soundly through the night, extinguish the hot flashes and be your strongest, most confident self.

We get to the root cause of your symptoms. We tend to blame all of our maladies on this one word - perimenopause - but that doesn’t get to the root cause, the reason, the why! If you knew how to curb your hot flashes, sleep like a teenager again, and reverse your stubborn weight gain you’d probably do it, right? Doing so requires understanding our physiology — and I make it simple to understand. I pair education with coaching to help you become your best self — a more confident, clear-headed, energetic, calm and strong version of you. We’ll develop a personal toolkit for you to refer back to any time you feel less than stellar in the coming decades. The work we do together now will serve you for decades to come.

We’ll work together for this to become your reality. My 12-week program combines education on blood sugar management, nervous system regulation, nutrition and strength protocols for this phase of life alongside personalized one-on-one coaching to help guide you on your journey to optimal health.

For some of us, just acquiring new information about how our physiology impacts our symptoms is catalyst for change, however the majority of us need consistent guidance, an accountability partner, a good listener, a friend to help us make lifestyle changes. That’s the work we’ll do together. I seamlessly weave together education and coaching to help you achieve the results you’re feeling are out of reach. If change were easy to make, we’d already be the best versions of ourselves. Having me as your educator and accountability partner will significantly increase your chances of success. We’ll dive deep into your health history, uncover your vision for your future self — your “why” — we’ll set attainable goals and work together to help you achieve them. One step at a time —  by walking alongside you to inspire discipline and motivation; overcome obstacles; and offer support and guidance.

Is this perimenopause?


The concept of perimenopause itself is fairly new to most of us. This period of 7-10 years before menstruation stops is a bit like puberty in reverse. Our hormones are fluctuating on a daily basis — just like our tweens and teens, except their hormones are onboarding and ours our checking out. For some of us, this perimenopause time frame is a slow build to a slew of bothersome symptoms and others feel hit by a storm of symptoms all at once! 


You’re up in the middle of the night – sometimes for hours. You’re having inconvenient hot flashes when you’re in meetings or out with friends. You’re sweat-soaking your bed sheets at night. You’re exhausted and can’t survive without your morning and afternoon caffeine. You’re likely pouring a drink to unwind after another overwhelming day. Your brain isn’t as quick as it used to be — you forget things every now and again, why did I come into this room?, and words are always on the tip of your tongue. You feel like you’ve developed ADD symptoms out of the blue in your 40s! You’re easily triggered by your kids, your partner and/or your parents. There’s anxiety that wasn’t there before, or it’s amplified. Your heart races, your thoughts continually loop, you feel outside of your body. And your physical body is changing too. You’re putting on weight in your mid-section even though your diet and exercise haven’t changed. And where is your muscle going? Then there’s all the stuff we don’t talk about openly (but we should, and we will) - you wet yourself when you sneeze, you learned the definition of prolapse this decade, and where did your libido go?

Do you feel like some or all of this is just happening to you? Like you don’t have any control or power over it?

Well, YOU DO! You have so much power over this phase of your life!

Grinning and bearing it, ignoring it to the best of your ability, or venting to your perimenopausal friends isn’t the only way to approach this. The problem for most of us in perimenopause is that we aren’t well-informed about what our bodies need in this phase of life and the tender loving care we require.

We make sure our kids have every resource and consultant they need, but we don’t offer ourselves, at the very least, the same level of attention. Change that today…

With three years of training, I graduated from the prestigious Integrative Women’s Health Institute as a Certified Women’s Health Coach, with specialized training in Perimenopause/Menopause, Longevity, Hormones and Functional Nutrition.
